you have to be an elite guru meaning you have to pay for extra stuff

if you join the guru group at the elite level (like me) you will get the honor of having the option of a signature (the directions for becoming an elite are on the home page I believe)....

Also, moderators, super moderators, and admins can add signatures, but you're not likely to get one of those positions anytime soon.

how does one become theses mods super mods and admins? i would love to ban ppl left and right( jus a little sarcasm if you havent bought sarcasm detectors yet)

Or just come along at the right time, like I did. There's really no hard and fast way to guarantee modship - if Inde thinks you'll be an asset to the community, she'll bring you on board.

FYI, the paid membership began as a way to supply funds to upgrade the server (how soon we forget, the slooow days). The extras are a thank-you for the support. So, for less than the cost of a video game, you can have a signature.
